I've been trying a few AI text RPG setups, but most end up feeling like chatting with a bot that forgets everything after a scene. I'm looking for something closer to actual interactive fiction or a text RPG: uncensored, with deep character and world persistence over long sessions, remembering relationships, locations, consequences, and maybe even inventory or quests.
Does anyone have recommendations for games or tools that handle this well instead of turning into a generic chatbot? I'm especially interested in ones with strong long-term memory and world state tracking.
