Honestly, I'd avoid getting boosted. Besides being against the game's rules in many cases, it usually just puts you in lobbies where you'll have a hard time keeping up once the boost is over. If you're already Bronze 1, getting to Gold is definitely achievable with a bit of focused practice. Work on crosshair placement, avoid taking unnecessary fights, and try to play just two or three agents so you really learn their utility. Recording a couple of your matches and watching your mistakes afterward can help way more than people expect. If you want teammates instead of a boost, I'd recommend finding people around your current rank to queue with. You'll improve together and actually earn the rank, which feels much more rewarding in the long run.

Also, don't get too hung up on your rank after every game. A lot of players start chasing RR instead of focusing on improving, and that usually leads to frustration. Try setting small goals for each session, like keeping your deaths lower, using utility more effectively, or communicating better with your team. Even if you lose a match, you can still come away having improved in one area. Over time those small improvements add up, and the rank follows naturally. Playing when you're tired or tilted usually has the opposite effect, so don't be afraid to take a break after a couple of bad games. Staying consistent is much more important than grinding for hours hoping to get lucky with teammates.
