So my 2019 Renault Koleos has been giving me these little warning signs for the past couple of weeks that I probably should have paid more attention to. The infotainment screen started rebooting randomly a few times, and the auto start-stop just stopped working entirely. Then this morning I got the dreaded "check battery" message on the dash and the car cranked really slowly before eventually starting. I know the battery is the original one and it's been about five years, so I'm not surprised it's reaching the end of its life. What I'm more concerned about is getting the right battery and having it installed properly because I've heard that Renaults with their smart charging systems need a specific type of battery and you have to do some kind of reset afterwards. I've had bad experiences in the past with general auto shops just throwing in any battery that fits without considering the car's requirements. I live in Abu Dhabi and I'm thinking of checking out the Musaffah area because I've heard there are some good parts suppliers and workshops there. What I really need is a Certified Renault car battery supplier in Musaffah who can supply the right battery and also do the installation if needed. I don't want to risk getting a battery that's not compatible with the car's start-stop system or doesn't have the right capacity for all the electronics. Has anyone here bought a battery from a Musaffah supplier for their Renault and had a good experience? I'd appreciate any recommendations because I'd rather go to a place that's recommended than just pick one at random.
