I recently started paying more attention to synthetic indices and noticed that most general trading resources don’t explain the individual markets in much detail. I came across a website that focuses specifically on synthetic indices and breaks them into categories such as Volatility, Boom & Crash, Jump, Step, and X-Series. There are also individual guides, charts, technical analysis, strategies, and broker comparisons. I’ve found it useful when I need to understand the basics of a particular index before spending time studying its price movements.

One thing I’ve learned from researching synthetic indices is that different markets can require quite different approaches to analysis. I bookmarked a site that brings information about these markets together, including Volatility, Boom & Crash, Jump, Step, and X-Series. It has separate index guides, live charts, technical analysis, and strategy-related material. There are also calculators and broker comparisons. I like using it as a reference when I’m trying to understand an unfamiliar index instead of relying on short descriptions from general trading websites.
